You’ll craft the vision, define the strategy, and lead execution to build and scale a high-impact, customer-loved category. If you’re a business-minded leader with a knack for market insight, product thinking, and cross-functional hustle — this role is your playground.

Responsibilities:

  • Shape the vision & own the strategy for your vertical – from market entry to scale.
  • Drive top-line growth via pricing, promotions, and strategic levers to increase GMV and order frequency.
  • Deep-dive into market and customer insights to unlock untapped opportunities and build differentiated experiences.
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, Ops, and Data teams to launch features, campaigns, and operational initiatives.
  • Build strong partnerships with vendors and local businesses – becoming the face of the category.
  • Use data (and your gut) to identify issues, A/B test ideas, and continuously iterate.
  • Lead the expansion into new cities or customer segments, tailoring each playbook to local insights.
  • Own your metrics — from revenue and margin to retention and satisfaction.
  • Be a category evangelist — always up to date with industry trends, innovations, and benchmarks.

Requirements:

  • +8 years of experience in business development, category management, marketing strategy, or similar roles — ideally in tech, e-commerce, FMCG, or marketplaces.
  • Proven success in building and growing a business line, preferably in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
  • You think like an owner. Strategic but hands-on. Visionary but pragmatic.
  • Strong analytical skills — you live in Excel, love dashboards, and trust the numbers.
  • Excellent communication skills — you know how to influence, pitch ideas, and drive alignment.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Ops teams.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset: you build, you test, you pivot, you grow.
