Responsibilities:
- Oversee the administration of Linux servers, ensuring system security and efficiency.
- Implement and maintain network solutions, including SAN and NAS storage systems.
- Manage network infrastructure adhering to CCNA network concepts.
- Configure and maintain HP servers, ensuring their reliability and performance.
- Utilize server virtualization tools, particularly KVM based, for efficient resource management.
- Set up and maintain robust email server solutions, including Postfix.
- Set up and maintain container based applications, especially Docker.
- Set up and maintain linux LDAP applications, especially IPA.
- Develop and maintain shell scripts to automate system administration tasks.
- Be available to work outside of regular office hours as required for maintenance, updates, and emergency response.
- Collaborating with IT team members and explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements:
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with a focus on network and system administration.
- Proven experience with Linux system administration and network management.
- Proficient in advanced networking protocols like HTTP,DNS,SSL,MAIL etc.
- Proficient in advanced networking concepts with a CCNA certification or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of server virtualization tools like KVM.
- Deep familiarity with Linux administration, including shell scripting for automation.
- Deep familiarity with Automation Platform Configuration as Code , especially Ansible.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to system maintenance and problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
